Prayers

Prayers have real power. I have felt that power. Please pray for my little sis Elissa and her sweet boy Mathew. They just found out he has cancer. Oh what a blessing this little boy is to this world. He truly is a beacon of life and enthusiasm.

Giving Thanks

Shailee and Hyrum stayed up late on Wednesday to help make pies. Thursday morning we went to my grandparents home for a nostalgic jaunt in the leaves, one of my favorite traditions as a child. Then it was on to my parents house for some fabulous company and food. So glad to have had the upbringing I did and to be surrounded by and connected to such amazing people.

Hyrum's Birthday

Hyrum enjoyed his birthday very much. He wanted to have some really special for lunch that day: Chicken nuggets. For his party, we gathered up some random kids in the ward and snatched up some cousins and headed out to Alena Gallegos Open Space for some pizza, hiking, cake eating, pinata bashing and serious fun.

Finding out that Hyrum was going to be a boy seems like it was just last week. We are so grateful for his love and loyalty. He knows what makes him happy and strives to have that with him all the time. How blessed we are to have him in the family setting a great example of kindness and love. Happy Birthday to you Hyrum!! 5 years old and counting forward.

Here is a few moments of the Halloween spirit that captured the hearts of the Blair family. Cooper was a lumber jack and a doctor. Shailee was a ballerina and a ballerina superhero. Hyrum was cowboy and a cowboy on a horse. Amandalynn was pirate and a forest fire. Cole was a brazilian firefighter. His beard hadn't been shaved since late August and wore it half shaven all day at work where he got many different responses and lots of praise for creativity. His neuro surgeon pumpkin and brain surgery patient pumpkin were a big hit for multiple days in the hospital.
